Applying for a property with PPL
If you would like to view of one of our available properties, please contact us on 0131 337 7539 and we will arrange a suitable time for you to view the property with one of our lettings team. We will ask you some questions prior to arranging the viewing to ensure that you are in a position to rent the property.
Please note that you, or a representative, must view the property before we can accept an application to rent a property.
Tenants must meet one of the below criteria in order to rent a property;
Tenants must have a combined annual salary of 30 x the monthly rent.
If you are a student, you will be required to have a UK based guarantor.
If you are self-employed, we will require 3 years accounts and a letter from your accountant.

We receive several applications for properties so the more information you provide on the application form the better.
Once your application has been approved by the landlord, we require a part deposit payment before beginning the reference checks. The part deposit is fully refundable if the tenancy does not go ahead.
Our reference checks are carried out by a third-party company who assess the following:
Bank validation check
Financial sanctions check
Current landlord reference
Once the reference checks have been completed and are satisfactory, we will send you your Private Residential Tenancy agreement to review and sign electronically.
